Talk:wc3/Memory Leaks
From WarCraft3
Proof?
This article states so many things without any citations. A couple of things where proof is _desperately_ needed:
- Returning a local agent will not lower the reference count
- It is known that the agent's handle id will be recycled when the reference count receeds to 0, but it will also cause a small memory leak. - It is known oO? What the heck for a thing is that :D
- and some leaks that just come from natives.
- Most leaks coming from certain natives are unpreventable, for the natives are created by Blizzard. - Sorry, but this is the most crappy wiki sentence I've ever read. Using "most" and "certain", using a senseless "proof" (for natives are created by Blizzard). I mean, that's like saying "The world is alive, for the world was created by the big bang" (you can substitute big bang with whatever you believe created the world). I'll possibly add a couple of citation needed thingies...

Tutorial?
This is looking way too much like a tutorial. Wiki's are not really supposed to be how-to guides, they are information databases.
I think that the way the page is set up needs to be made much more formal. Darthfett 06:29, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. This page is truly a mess. The original by Renendaru was one paragraph.
